WHAT IS NOONGARPEDIA?

_____________________________________________________________________________________

‘Noongarpedia’ is a project funded by the Australian Research Council until 2016 to research the idea of, why is there no Noongar Wikipedia and the present barriers of such a thing to exist. Currently we are developing and creating a incubator site, trialing and testing different formats of what this may look like, including an all language version, bi lingual versions and English versions.

The team understood the importance of Noongar Language development as part of this reserch and therefore aspired to create a online resources that community could use to develop their skills in Noongar Language to use for projects like ours and other uses like delivery of school cirriculum and development of language resources.
